Action Network: Pittsburgh 8th-Worst Gameday City in NFL

Published

Action Network has ranked the best gameday cities in the NFL, but Pittsburgh’s place on the list may spark some confusion and even anger among Steelers fans.

Pittsburgh has been ranked the eighth-worst city in the league for its gameday atmosphere and accommodations.

Only Seattle, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Chicago are worse.

In formulating their list, the Action Network factored in just two criteria: the cumulative price of attending a game and amenities of the stadium.

Concession prices, parking and Heinz Field’s age and lack of a roof likely factored into Pittsburgh’s scathing ranking.

Atlanta was ranked as having the best gameday experience.
