AJ Brown Drug Tested After Smashing Steelers: ‘This is Not Random’

The NFL couldn’t believe what AJ Brown did to the Steelers Sunday.

Brown, the Philadelphia Eagles’ star receiver, posted a ridiculous stat line in his team’s 35-13 domination over the boys from Pittsburgh.

In that blowout, Brown caught six passes for 156 yards –– and three touchdowns.

Oh, and all three touchdowns came in the first half.

It was insane –– and the NFL wants to make sure it was, well, natural:

Look, I already said it in my post-game wrap-up of that one.

Brown wasn’t juicing.

The Steelers just stink.

At 2-6, the Steelers hold down last place in the AFC North, and they’re hurtling not only toward a sub-.500 record but possibly a sub-.250 record. Brown’s last two touchdowns torched Ahkello Witherspoon, who was coming off a hamstring injury and promptly was replaced by James Pierre.

On his first, Brown flat out-played Steelers All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for the ball.

But, hey, review the tape for yourself:

There’s one (ah! ah! ah!).

Two (ah! ah! ah!).

Annnnd three (ah! ah! ah!).

Again, Brown is an elite talent –– but Zach Pascal also did this for the Eagles Sunday against the Steelers:

So yeah. I’m not sure it’s that Brown enjoyed a little “help” on the field.

It’s probably just that the Steelers aren’t a very good football team.

Good luck with that sample, Mr. Goodell.
