Allegiant Air will offer a special non-stop flight for Pittsburgh Steelers fans that are traveling to Las Vegas for the team’s Week 3 game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 24.

In addition to the flight, Steelers fans have the ability to purchase a package for the trip that includes the flight, a two-night hotel stay, and tickets to the game against the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.

The Steelers will be making their first trip to Las Vegas. The Raiders moved to Sin City from Oakland in 2020. The Steelers’ last road game against the Raiders was a 24-21 loss at Oakland Coliseum in 2018.

Last year, the Steelers beat the Raiders 13-10 at Acrisure Stadium, with Kenny Pickett throwing a late game-winning touchdown to Kenny Pickett as the Steelers won on the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception.

The longtime AFC rivals have played 28 times in the regular season, with the Raiders holding a 14-11 edge. The teams have split six postseason games, but have not met in the playoffs since 1983.

Allegiant is a Las Vegas-based discount airline that was founded in 1997 and has been flying out of Pittsburgh since 2014.

“The home of the Raiders has quickly become an iconic attraction during a Las Vegas getaway. In fact, last season NFL fans voted Allegiant Stadium the number one venue for Overall Gameday Satisfaction, citing the stadium’s cuisine, atmosphere, and technology as highlights of their visit,” Allegiant vice president Scott DeAngelo said in a press release announcing the 2022 NFL packages. “We’re proud to connect NFL fans to one of the world’s premier vacation, entertainment and now sports destinations and doing it the Allegiant way: by providing nonstop, affordable airfare and the convenience of scheduling a one-of-a-kind sports vacation with just a few clicks of a button.”
