The Chicago Bears will activate running back David Montgomery from the injured reserve list for Monday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, accordion to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Montgomery hasn’t played since injuring his knee in Chicago’s Week 4 game against the Detroit Lions. In four games, he rushed 69 times for 309 yards and three touchdowns.

Backup Damien Williams is also injured, and he has been ruled out of Monday’s game with a knee injury.

Sixth-round rookie Khalil Herbert is Chicago’s leading rusher on the season, even though he entered the year as the No. 3 option. He has 351 yards on 81 carries and a touchdown.

Chicago will have to clear a spot on the 53-man roster in order for Montgomery to return.
