Ben Roethlisberger Moves Into Third All-Time on Postseason Passing Yards List
Accolades are something that has never been foreign to Ben Roethlisberger. In what could be his final game, he has notched another one into his cap.
With the tohchdown pass to Diontae Johnson, Roethlisberger passed Brett Favre to move into third all-time in postseason passing yards. Amassing over 5,000 already, Roethlisberger needed only 100 yards to pass both Joe Montana and Favre for fourth and third.
Roethlisberger now sits only behind Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. No one is catching Brady, who has thrown for an absurd 12,449 passing yards in his postseason career. It s not entirely likely for Roethlisberger to catch Manning either, who has 7.339 career passing yards in his postseason career.
Still, it is an impressive mark for Roethlisberger whose postseason career involves three Super Bowl appearances and two Super Bowl victories. It is just another stat that solidifies his place bust in Canton for when his time of eligibility comes.
