Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger led his team to a comeback win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, but he did have an impressive streak snapped in the process.

Roethlisberger failed to throw a touchdown pass in the victory, which snapped a 28-game streak where he has tossed at least one.

The streak began in last year’s season opener against the New York Giants, a game in which Roethlisberger threw three touchdowns in a 26-16 win.

The last time Roethlisberger failed to throw a touchdown pass was Pittsburgh’s Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in 2019. That was the day he suffered a season-ending elbow injury.

The 39-year-old did manage to rush for a touchdown in the crucial win over the Titans Sunday. He has not scored a touchdown on the ground since Nov. 18, 2018, a 20-16 win at Jacksonville. Roethlisberger has passed for 3,214 yards and 19 touchdowns this season.
