The Cleveland Browns have signed former Pitt kicker Chris Blewitt to their practice squad, the team announced on Wednesday ahead of Monday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Blewitt, 26, has spent time with the Chicago Bears and Washington Football Team since graduating from Pitt after the 2016 season. He hit two of five field goals and two of two extra points in two games with Washington this season.

Blewitt has extensive experience kicking at Heinz Field, where he played four seasons with the Panthers from 2013-16. He hit 69.6% of his field goals with the Panthers and 97.1% of his extra points over his four-year career.

Browns kicker Chase McLaughlin missed the team’s game on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers while on the COVID-19 list. Chris Naggar filled in for him on Sunday, making 1 of 2 extra points and one field goal. Naggar was returned to the practice squad after the game.
