The NFC has won the last two Super Bowls, but with the AFC continuing to accumulate quarterback talent, the betting markets are favoring a reversal of that trend in 2022, as an AFC team is favored to win Super Bowl LVIII, with -128 odds posted by FanDuel Sportsbook, while NFC teams are +104 underdogs.

The AFC West is unsurprisingly leading the charge, as the Kansas City Chiefs made it to two of the last three Super Bowls and won one and the Denver Broncos made a big splash by acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson in a trade. The Super Bowl winner coming out of the AFC West has +330 odds.

The NFC West, with reigning champions the Los Angeles Rams, is +400, followed by the AFC East at +450 and the NFC South at +500.

Despite the Cincinnati Bengals making it all the way to the Super Bowl last season the oddsmakers are bearish on the AFC North’s chances of producing a Super Bowl winner this time around. The combined odds of the Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns or Pittsburgh Steelers winning the Super Bowl is +550, the fourth-longest of any division.

The NFC North (+700), NFC East (+800) and AFC South (+950) round out the divisional odds.
