Mere minutes after placing tight end Travis Kelce on the COVID-19 reserve list, the Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly done the same with two more key contributors.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, cornerback Charvarious Ward and kicker Harrison Butker have also tested positive, which puts both of their statuses for next Sunday’s matchup with the Steelers in jeopardy.

While each player’s vaccination status is unknown, they could potentially return in time to play against Pittsburgh if they can provide two consecutive negative tests and remain asymptomatic.

Ward has recorded 51 total tackles, eight passes defended and an interception in ten games played this season.

Butker has made 22 of 25 field goal attempts this season, including six of 50 yards or more.
