KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Running back Darrel Williams will dress for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, despite being listed as questionable to participate with a toe injury.

Fellow back Clyde Edwards-Helaire will not play with a shoulder injury suffered against the Steelers in Week 16. Jerrick McKinnon and Derrick Gore will back up William. Darwin Thompson was elevated from the practice squad, but is not dressed.

Williams played in all 17 games for the Chiefs this season, making seven starts, and was the team’s leading rusher and fifth-leading receiver.

Edwards-Helaire and Williams were the only two Kansas City players to be listed with an injury designation for the game until cornerback Rashad Fenton was added late on Sunday.

In addition to Edwards-Helaire, Fenton and Thompson, Kansas City scratched third quarterback Shane Buechele, wide receiver Josh Gordon, defensive end Joshua Kaindoh and tackle Prince Tega Wanogho.
