Chase Claypool: Browns Will ‘Get Clapped’ By Chiefs

Even with Sunday night’s playoff loss to the Browns still fresh, one Pittsburgh Steelers player is still not a believer in the Cleveland Browns.

Interacting with fans on TikTok on Monday afternoon, Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool said that the Browns are “gonna get clapped” by the Kansas City Chiefs in next weekend’s Divisional round.

“Bad loss, but the Browns are gonna get clapped next week. So all good,” Claypool said.

While the Steelers have little room to talk after last night’s defeat, the Browns are traveling to Arrowhead Stadium next week to face the AFC’s No. 1 seed.

For as impressive as their dismantling of Pittsburgh was, Cleveland has serious defensive issues heading into a matchup with Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the league’s most explosive offense.

Still, the Browns are entirely comfortable being the underdog, and have to be riding high after knocking their arch rivals out of the postseason.

Claypool had five receptions for 59 yards and two touchdowns in the loss Sunday night. His performance, albeit in a defeat, caps off an impressive rookie campaign where he was awarded the Joe Greene Great Performance Award as the Steelers’ rookie of the year.
