Pro Bowl Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and left guard Joel Bitonio did not practice on Tuesday, as the Browns are significantly banged up entering their Thursday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.

The Browns have already ruled out fellow defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has already been ruled out of the game and backup Chase Winovich was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday, leaving Cleveland without its top three edge rushers for the divisional matchup.

Bitonio is dealing with a biceps injury. Garrett has a neck injury. Head coach Kevin Stefanski was non-committal when asked about their status for Thursday, saying only “we’ll see.”

Clowney has an ankle injury. Winovich has a hamstring injury and may miss more than the minimum of four games, as Stefanski said it could be long-term. Rookies Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas are listed as the backups to Clowney and Garrett on Cleveland’s depth chart at defensive end.

Wright was as third-round pick from UAB. He’s played in both games, recording two tackles and two passes defended. Thomas is a seventh-round pick rom Oklahoma that has played 10 snaps in one game.

Isaac Rochell is a six-year veteran and is on the Cleveland practice squad. He played in the team’s Week 1 game. Rochell has played 64 games for the Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers since 2017.

Hjalte Froholdt and former Pittsburgh Steelers lineman Joe Haeg are among the Browns’ options to start at guard if Bitonio can’t play.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jesse James was also place on the Cleveland injured reserve list on Tuesday, leaving the team with just David Njoku and Harrison Bryant on the active roster. Miller Forristall and Zaire Mitchell-Paden are on the team’s practice squad.
