Steelers Wiz Khalifa

One of Pittsburgh’s top music acts will be in the stadium for the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Baltimore Ravens today,

🏈 Saturday marked the 39th anniversary of Terry Bradshaw’s final pass of his career, a 10-yard touchdown to Calvin Sweeney against the New York Jets. Bradshaw blew out his arm on the throw, and that was it for the four-time Super Bowl champion. Bradshaw’s last pass also came in the final game at Shea Stadium. The Steelers defeated the Jets, 34-7.

🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger broke down Kenny Pickett’s first-half performance against the Atlanta Falcons and Minkah Fitzpatrick’s game-sealing interception.

🏈 The NFL Football Operations Twitter account shared an in-depth video on the history of the Pittsburgh Steelers logo. Random fact, but the Steelers symbol has the most colors out of any NFL team logo.

🏈 WTAE shared a short clip of the Steelers locker room after the Immaculate Reception. More videos will come later this month with the 50th anniversary occurring on Dec. 23.

🏈 With Lamar Jackson (left knee) listed as doubtful for Sunday against the Steelers, the Ravens elevated quarterback Anthony Brown from the practice squad to the active roster, making him Baltimore’s likely backup starting quarterback Tyler Huntley.

🏈 Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Lamar Jackson may not play again until Christmas Eve as he continues to recover from a sprained PCL.

🏈 Tyler Huntley played with the flu during the Broncos game. He did not eat anything all day, was able to take one bite of a hot dog at halftime. Despite being ill, Huntley fared pretty well in relief, completing 27 of 32 passes (84.4%) for 187 yards with no touchdowns, one interception, and a quarterback rating of 78.0. Huntley also rushed for 41 yards on 10 carries (4.1 average) and scored the game-winning touchdown.

🏈 The Ravens activated running back J.K. Dobbins and free safety Marcus Williams from injured reserve to the 53-man roster on Saturday. To make room for Dobbins, Baltimore waived veteran running back Mike Davis.

🏈 Since the bye week, the Steelers have the second-most rushing DVOA in the NFL behind only the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Football Outsiders. Since acquiring linebacker Roquan Smith, the Ravens have allowed a league-low 2.6 yards per carry and zero rushing touchdowns.

🏈 Pittsburgh’s own Wiz Khalifa will be leading the Terrible Towel Twirl and performing at halftime of Sunday’s
Steelers-Ravens game.

🏈 Mike Tomlin will face John Harbaugh for the 32nd time on Sunday. Only two other coaching matchups in league history have met over 30 times. George Halas and Earl “Curley” Lambeau have the all-time record, meeting each other 49 times. Tomlin-Harbaugh will surpass Steve Owen-Lambeau (31). Tomlin is 17-14 all-time (including playoffs) against Harbaugh.

🏈 USC quarterback Caleb Williams was named the 2022 Heisman Trophy Winner. Williams joins Carson Palmer (2002) and Matt Leinhart (2004) as fellow USC quarterbacks to win the prestigious award.
