๐Ÿˆ The Pittsburgh Steelers are ranked 17th in ESPN’s early power rankings for 2025.

“Yet again, the Steelers enter an offseason with uncertainty at the most important position. Team owner/president Art Rooney II said he prefers to sign either Justin Fields or Russell Wilson to a multiyear deal, but the team would also evaluate quarterbacks in the 2025 or 2026 draft,” Pryor wrote. “The QB decision will affect the rest of the roster construction. Can the team afford to pay a top-tier wide receiver? Will it use the first-round pick to bolster the defensive line? It all starts with the decision at quarterback.”

๐Ÿˆ Former Steelers cornerback Patrick Peterson thinks the Steelers have to become more modern offensively.

โ€œI feel like Pittsburgh needs to shake up the offensive style a little bit. The way theyโ€™re calling plays, itโ€™s still in the โ€™90s,” Peterson said on All Facts No Brakes with Keyshawn Johnson. “Now, you want to be a little bit more innovative. I wonโ€™t necessarily say trick plays, but have a little bit more spice in your offense. A little bit more eye candy, having some motions, having some shifts, and things like that to be able to get your playmakers involved in the game.”

๐Ÿˆ CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson thinks the Steelers have a lot of work to do in order to become contenders in January.

โ€œYou have to surround Wilson with playmakers. Whether that means trading George Pickens and finding the answers at wide receiver with another two or three players, that has to be done because youโ€™re not gonna win football games playing the way they did last year when your best player in George Pickens isnโ€™t on the field,” Wilson said. “I hesitantly go with Russ Wilson, with the understanding that thereโ€™s a lot of work that needs to be done to make this team a legit team capable of winning in January.โ€

๐Ÿˆ ESPN ranked the Steelers 1975 Super Bowl-winning team eighth-best champion team ever in the NFL.

๐Ÿˆ Marcus Spears thinks Aaron Rodgers would be a potential fit for the Steelers.

๐Ÿˆ Dan Orlovsky of ESPN thinks the Steelers, Denver Broncos, and Cleveland Browns are all potential landing spots for Deebo Samuel.

๐Ÿˆ A projected 126 million viewers watched this year’s Super Bowl LIX. A new record-high viewership for the Super Bowl.

๐Ÿˆ Former Steelers pro scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles. Hunt, who is the senior director of scouting for the Eagles, was in the running for the Steelers general manager position, but Omar Khan got the job over him.

๐Ÿˆ Old Time Football posted a clip of former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher glaring at punter Josh Miller after a brutal punt against the St. Louis Rmas in 1996.
