Next Thursday, Charles W. Flanagan High School will retire the uniform No. 11 in honor of one of its youngest alumni.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Devin Bush, just 21 years old, will have his uniform number retired by his alma mater this Thursday.

Bush joined the Steelers as the No. 10 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and has already impressed as a rookie after spending three years with the Michigan Wolverines.

Last week against Baltimore, he made his first career interception. He’s also recovered three fumbles and recorded one sack, three tackles for loss and 45 total tackles over his first five professional games.

Flanagan High School is located in Bush’s hometown of Pembroke Pines, Florida, to the north of Miami. Other notable alumni include former Atlanta Falcons safety Nick Turnbull and Baltimore Ravens safety Cary Williams, along with MLB players J.D. Martinez and Mike Napoli.
