Diontae Johnson among Favorites to Lead NFL Receivers in 2022

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson is among the listed favorites to lead the NFL in receiving yards, according to odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Johnson should be in line for an increased role in 2022 after the departures of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Ray-Ray McCloud and James Washington via free agency. Johnson is entering the final season of his rookie contract with the Steelers.Johnson is tied for the 11th-best odds at +2500 after hauling in 107 passes for 1,161 yards last season, which had him finish 10th in the NFL last season and earned him a Pro Bowl nod.

Los Angeles Rams slot man Cooper Kupp led all receivers with 1,947 yards. Kupp and Minnesota Vikings wide out Justin Jefferson are the co-favorites for 2022 at +900. Jefferson finished second to Kupp last season with 1,616 yards.

Fresh off his Rookie of the Year season, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is tied for the third-best odds at +1200 with Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Another high-profile star that changed teams this offseason, Tyreek Hill, now with the Miami Dolphins, is next with +1600 odds, along with San Francisco 49ers Swiss Army knife Deebo Samuel and Buffalo Bills star Stefan Diggs.

Tied for ninth are Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans and Dallas Cowboys top man CeeDee Lamb at +2000.

Along with Johnson at +2500 sits Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews and DeAndre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals and AJ Brown, who was just traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The last time a Steelers player led the NFL in receiving yards was in 2018, when Antonio Brown paced the league with 1,533 yards.
