There’s an understandable negativity about the state of the team with five straight losses to end the 2024 season, no playoff wins since 2016, and a string of mediocre finishes in a row.
But don’t confuse the justifiable frustration about where the Black and Gold are with incompetence. They’re still pretty good at this — one of the better-run teams in the league. Plenty would love to be where Pittsburgh is right now.
