CINCINNATI — Nose tackle Isaiah Buggs is among the inactive players for the Pittsburgh Steelers for their Week 12 game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Buggs joins quarterback Dwayne Haskins, inside linebacker Buddy Johnson and tight end Kevin Rader as healthy scratches. Cornerback Joe Haden (left mid-foot sprain) had previously been ruled out with an injury.

Buggs had played in all 10 games for the Steelers this season, making six starts at nose tackle after injuries to Tyson Alualu and Carlos Davis. He has 17 tackles, two tackles for loss and one pass defended on the season.

Without Buggs, Henry Mondeaux, Isaiahh Loudermilk and practice squad call-up Daniel Archibong will serve as defensive line depth behind starters Cam Heyward and Chris Wormley.

Archibong will likely serve as the nose tackle when the team lines up in its base 3-4 defense. This is the second game he has been called up from the practice squad this season. He played eight snaps of defense against the Chargers in Week 11. Players can be elevated from the practice squad twice in a season without being subject to waivers.

Wide receiver Anthony Miller, who was elevated from the practice squad, and offensive lineman John Leglue, who was promoted to the practice squad from the active roster, are both active for the first time this season.

Outside linebacker T.J. Watt and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick will return to the lineup after missing the game against the Chargers.
