Steelers tight end Heath Miller retired from the National Football League on Feb. 19, 2016, five years to the day from Friday.

Miller was drafted in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Steelers and quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his combination of receiving and blocking abilities.

Miller spent 11 seasons in Pittsburgh was selected to two Pro Bowls and won Super Bowl XL and XLIII with the team.
