Former Steelers kicker Matthew Wright was the hero for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, as his game-winning field goal ended the second-longest losing streak in NFL history.

Wright booted a 53-yarder as time expired to down the Miami Dolphins in London 23-20. The Jaguars had lost their previous 20 games dating back to Week 2 of last season.

Wright also hit a 54-yard field goal, the longest of his career, to tie the game minutes earlier.

Jacksonville had not even made a field goal through the first five weeks of the season. Wright had three total on the day.

Wright played three games for the Steelers in 2020 replacing an injured Chris Boswell. He went 4-4 on field goals and 7-7 on extra points.
