Steelers OL John Leglue

The Tennessee Titans have signed offensive lineman John Leglue from the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad to a reserve/future contract for the 2023 season, the team announced on Tuesday.

Leglue, 26, spent the entire 2022 season on the Steelers’ practice squad and was not activated for any games, as the Steelers remained nearly perfectly healthy across the offensive line throughout the season.

A versatile lineman that can play all five positions, Leglue first joined the Steelers on Dec. 29, 2020 and he finished the end of his second pro season on their practice squad,.

In 2021, Leglue was called up to the Steelers active roster and played in six games and made five starts at guard after injuries to Kendrick Green and B.J. Finney.

A 6-foot-7, 310-pound Tulane alum, Leglue had stops with the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers before joining the Steelers in 2020.

Leglue is the first player from the 2022 Steelers final regular season roster to sign with another team. Three players remain unsigned from the final practice squad: defensive tackle Carlos Davis, cornerback Mark Gilbert and outside linebacker Mike Tafua.
