Mike Tomlin, Aaron Rodgers Exchange Smiles

After throwing a dime to wide receiver Randall Cobb on a 23-yard touchdown pass, Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin had an intriguing exchange.

Cameras caught Tomlin smiling and nodding at Rodgers immediately after the play. The quarterback did the same with an even bigger grin, as the two shared a moment of mutual admiration.

Rodgers’ admiration for Tomlin is no secret. He spoke glowingly of the head coach on the Pat McAfee Show last week.

“I have a ton of respect for Mike. I think he’s a fantastic coach,” Rodgers said. “I love the way that he leads. I love the way he talks after the games. Always seems to keep things really even keel. And looks like he’s somebody that the players love playing for him.”

Sunday’s interaction further fueled the hopes and dreams of Steeler fans who have been campaigning for Rodgers to join the team in 2022.
