Alabama running back Najee Harris is likely to be available when the Steelers pick at No. 24 overall in the first round, according to odds released on Wednesday by BetOnline.ag, but his stock is rising.
The over/under line for Harris’ draft position is now up to 25 1/2, after opening at 32 1/2, suggesting that bookmakers don’t believe the Crimson Tide back will fall much farther than the Steelers at No. 24. Harris has been recently connected to the Steelers by multiple outlets.
Other players that the bookmakers think will be taken around the Steelers’ first pick are Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Virginia cornerback Caleb Farley (23 1/2), Georgia linebacker Azeez Ojulari (24 1/2), Tulsa linebacker Zaven Collins (24 1/2) and Kentucky linebacker Jamin Davis (26 1/2).
The second-rated running back in the class, Clemson’s Travis Etienne, opened at 35 1/2 and has moved up to 32 1/2.
