Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson could be playing elsewhere in 2022, and oddsmakers believe the Pittsburgh Steelers are a perfect fit.
The Steelers are one of the favorites to be Wilson’s next team at 5/1, courtesy of MaximBet. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also 5/1.
The New Orleans Saints (6/1), Miami Dolphins (7/1) and Indianapolis Colts (8/1) are also considered front runners to land Wilson’s services.
In ten years with Seattle, Wilson has passed for 37,059 yards and 292 touchdowns with just 87 interceptions. He is a nine-time Pro Bowler and won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks.
While Pittsburgh is searching for their next quarterback following the departure of Ben Roethlisberger, the asking price for Wilson might be too high.
The team that acquires Wilson will likely have to send multiple first round picks back to Seattle in the deal.
