The Steelers have been underdogs for all three of their games so far this season. They won outright in Week 1 in Cincinnati and pushed the spread while losing by the three-point margin to the New England Patriots.

The Browns are 1-1 against the spread, winning outright as underdogs in the opener against the Carolina Panthers, but losing as six-point favorites to the New York Jets in Week 2.

The total for the game is 40. Both Browns games this season have gone over their total, while the Steelers have gone under twice. The Steelers have had 43 and 30 points scored in their two games, while Cleveland had had 50 and 61 points scored in its two games.

The Steelers won the last meeting between the teams, 26-14 at Heinz Field in January. They also won the last game at FirstEnergy Stadium, winning 15-10 last fall in Cleveland.

In the series, the Steelers have won 19 of the last 25 games dating back to 2010, going 19-5-1 in that span. The Steelers lead the overall ll-time series, 79-61-1. The teams have played at least twice annually since the Browns joined the NFL in 1950 and are each other’s most-played opponent.

Kickoff on Thursday night from FirstEnergy Stadium is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally via Amazon Prime Video and locally on WPXI. Rain is currently in the forecast for Thursday night.
