Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen signed a lucrative free agent deal with the team on March 15, but Ravens fans are still giving him flak about leaving Baltimore over two months later.

One Ravens fan claimed on X that Baltimore had no interest in re-signing Queen and he’s a sloppy second for Pittsburgh.

Queen clapped back, “I can drop numbers but there’s no need. I’m where I WANT to be. Stop mentioning me this what I mean when I say rent free on here lying bout deals.”

This is not the first time that Ravens fans got under Queen’s skin.

“Honestly bruh y’all can stfu now. It’s not even that deep for us players until game week and y’all can’t understand the fact it wasn’t up to me,” Queen wrote on X about signing with the Steelers. “I gave y’all everything I had now when it’s time for me to do what I need y’all hurt bout everything I say. Go touch some grass and fill the void in y’all life. To ones still showing love even with the switch this not to y’all.”

Queen’s former teammates joked around with him, but there was no bad blood. Players understand that it’s a business and there’s only so many opportunities to cash in. Former Ravens safety Tony Jefferson did say on X, “It’s getting oppy outside” after former Raven DeShon Elliott with Pittsburgh, referring to the opposition in the Steelers. It’s unclear if he was joking or not, though.

When it comes time to get onto the football field, Queen wants to be known not as someone who was a former Raven but as the villain of that rivalry.

“It’s going to be weird, but I want to be that villain. I want to be that guy. I’m looking to do some stuff to them,” Queen said.

Queen and the Steelers will face the Ravens this season on Nov. 17 in Pittsburgh and Dec. 21 in Baltimore.
