Almost every football expert in the sun has proffered his or her opinion with a mock 2021 NFL Draft at this point, but in the latest mock draft from Pro Football Focus, the outlet gave rise to a different voice: the fans.

Using data from the outlet’s mock draft simulator, PFF’s Jarad Evans compiled a mock draft based on the most popular picks by fans of each team. The top pick is still Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence going to Jacksonville, but the fans’ draft broke a little bit differently along the way.

For Pittsburgh, it ended up in a familiar place, with the Steelers taking Oklahoma State tackle Teven Jenkins with the No. 24 overall pick. Jenkins has been linked with the Steelers in the mock drafts of several experts, including ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr., CBS Sports’ Tom Fornelli and NFL.com‘s Daniel Jeremiah.

The 6-foot-6, 317-pound tackle is known for playing with a chip on his shoulder and called himself tough, physical and nasty at his pro day.

The Steelers have a need at tackle with Alejandro Villanueva not expected to be re-signed. Jenkins could step in and compete with Zach Banner and Chukwuma Okorafor immediately.
