The Steelers 2023 preseason schedule has been revealed on Thursday, and the team will head on the road down south while playing one home game for their three-game preseason slate.

Pittsburgh will open up its slate with a trip to Tampa Bay, Florida, where they will face the Buccaneers. The first game will occur on August 11th and will air on KDKA-TV. It will be the second straight year the team will travel to Florida for a preseason game, as they traveled to Jacksonville a year ago to face the Jaguars.

After that, they will play at Acrisure Stadium against the Buffalo Bills the following Saturday, August 19th at 6:30. The game will air on KDKA-TV. Pittsburgh had two home games last year for their preseason games, but this will be their first and only home game for those games.

Lastly, they will head down to Atlanta for their third game, but the time and date have not yet been announced. The game will also air on KDKA-TV.

All in all, Pittsburgh will play those three games before playing at home against the San Francisco 49ers on September 10th. It will be the first time that the Steelers have their home opener on the first week of the NFL season since 2014. All in all, the team will play at least 20 games across the preseason and regular season.
