The Steelers and Bengals Week 11 matchup at Acrisure Stadium has been flexed out of Sunday Night Football and will be played at 4:25 ET on November 20th, the NFL announced on Tuesday.

The Chargers and Chiefs will replace Pittsburgh’s matchup against Cincinnati after Pittsburgh has nosedived to a 2-6 start on the season. That prompted the change from the league, and it is the first flexed game of the 2022 NFL season to this point.

Pittsburgh’s game against Cincinnati will now air on CBS. This now brings Pittsburgh’s primetime game count to only two as they play on Monday Night Football the week after against the Indianapolis Colts and then play on Christmas Eve against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The first game between the Bengals and Steelers was an overtime thriller, with Pittsburgh pulling it out in a 23-20 slugfest. Pittsburgh will return T.J. Watt and Damontae Kazee to the lineup which could bolster their chances to win the game, but they have collapsed since the game while Cincinnati has found some stability at 5-4.

Pittsburgh played the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football already in the season, but it appears that will be their last Sunday Night Football of the season. The Steelers will return to play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints at 1 PM.
