The Steelers hosted three wide receivers and two cornerbacks for visits on Tuesday as they try to reconfigure their practice squad and deal with injuries at the cornerback position.

The three wide receivers are Taysir Mack, Ja’Marcus Bradley, and Josh Malone. Lavert Hill and Duke Dawson were the two cornerbacks that Pittsburgh worked out in an attempt to find some depth at a position where they are badly beaten up as it stands.

Mack caught 139 passes for 2,059 yards and nine touchdowns in four seasons as one of Kenny Pickett’s top targets at Pitt. His best statistical season was in 2019, when he caught 63 passes for 736 yards and three touchdowns. He was limited by injury in both 2020 and 2021.

Bradley is a Louisiana-Lafayette product and he went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has spent time with the Cleveland Browns in both 2020 and 2021, but has yet to find a place to land in 2022. He has nine career catches for 124 yards up to this point in the NFL.

Malone is a veteran who could interest the Steelers. The fourth-round Bengals draft pick in 2017 has spent many years in the league hopping around teams. He spent his first two seasons in Cincinnati before spending the next two seasons with the New York Jets. In 2021, he hopped around on practice squads, including the Broncos, Titans, and Packers. Malone has 11 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown in his career.

Hill is a Michigan product that the Steelers showed interest in during his pre-draft process. He was undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, and has played with the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and most recently, the Cleveland Browns. Hill was a two-time All-Big 10 selection with the Wolverines.

Dawson came into the NFL as the Patriots’ second-round draft pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. But he would only spend one seasons there, as he was traded to the Denver Broncos. Dawson played three seasons in Denver and was most recently on the Carolina Panthers practice squad. In his career, Dawson has 27 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a pass deflection.
