Watch: Minkah Fitzpatrick Scores Pick Six Off Joe Burrow

Pittsburgh Steelers, Minkah Fitzpatrick

CINCINNATI — It barely took the Steelers any time. Two plays into their defensive campaign, and the Steelers already put up a defensive touchdown off a pick-six by Minkah Fitzpatrick.

On the play, Joe Burrow appears to scan the field and expect a single-high look, but the Steelers drop back into Cover 2 man, and Burrow misses Fitzpatrick completely. From there, it was all green grass as Fitzpatrick scampered into the end zone for the touchdown.

The Steelers currently lead the Bengals 7-0 in the first quarter after the defensive touchdown from Fitzpatrick. For a Steelers defense with plenty of expectations to live up to, this is about as impressive of a start as the defense could expect.

With it, Fitzpatrick has the most defensive touchdowns since he entered the NFL in 2018. It brings his total career touchdowns up to five.
