The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to place wide receiver Tyreek Hill, cornerback Rashad Fenton and tight end Blake Bell on the COVID-19 list on Tuesday, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Hill, Fenton and Bell will join tight end Travis Kelce, kicker Harrison Butker and cornerback Charvarious Ward on the list on Monday. Schefter suggested that more Chiefs could be headed to the list, as well.

Bell is Kelce’s top backup at tight end. With both players out, the team will be forced to call upon fifth-round rookie Noah Gray at what is an important position for the Kansas City offense.

Kelce is along the top tight ends in the league and will represent the AFC as a Pro Bowl starter. Gray has four career catches for 18 yards and one touchdown.

The situation at cornerback is similar, where Fenton would have been one of the top options to replace starting outside corner Ward. Deandre Baker and Armani Watts are the other options.

Hill’s absence will likely slide Mecole Harvin into the slot, with Demarcus Robinson joining Byron Pringle on the outside.
