The Kansas City Chiefs got a reprieve from their ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, as no new positive tests were returned on Wednesday, according to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The team added tight end Blake Bell, linebacker Nick Bolton, cornerback Rashad Fenton, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, guard Kyle Long, tackle Lucas Niang and safety Armani Watts to the list on Tuesday.

They joined kicker Harrison Butker, tight end Travis Kelce and cornerback Charvarius Ward, who were added on Monday.

All 10 of those players must test negative before they can return to Kansas City practices or games, leaving the Chiefs significantly impacted by the virus.

But if the team continues to have clean tests among the players on the 53-man roster, expect the NFL to push forward with playing the game on Sunday, despite the significant absences.
