It appears as though the Steelers are close to trading to All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Both Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter are reporting that a deal appears imminent.

Early Wednesday morning, Rapoport first reported that “sources say the Steelers have begun telling teams that this (trading Brown) is moving quickly and to give their best offers ASAP. This could wrap up soon. 3 new teams have jumped in the last 48 hours. The New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals are out.”

Minutes after Rapoport released that report, Schefter tweeted this, “teams that have spoken to the Steelers about a potential Antonio Brown trade have been told that a deal is expected to be in place by Friday.”

The odds on favorite to land Brown would continue to be the Oakland Raiders, who have plenty of cap room and have numerous 2019 draft picks that are crucial to getting a deal done. If they can get by the baggage that Brown will bring, the other team that makes a lot of sense is the Green Bay Packers.

Two other teams that also are mentioned as possible landing spots are the Washington Redskins or the Tennessee Titans.
