Steelers NFL Draft Ohio State Egbuka

The Pittsburgh Steelers were reported to have sent scouts to three games on Saturday, as the team continues to get ready for the 2023 NFL Draft, the first under new general manager Omar Khan

The Steelers saw Ohio State for the second time as the No. 3 Buckeyes hosted Big Ten foes Wisconsin. Another Big Ten and another Ohio team also caught the Steelers’ interest, as the club had a representative at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati as the Bearcats welcomed Indiana in a non-conference showdown. The Steelers were also in their usual seats at Acrisure Stadium to check out the Pitt Panthers, as the local squad showed off its depth against Rhode Island.

Here are some players the scouts may have had their binoculars focused on, as the Buckeyes routed the Badgers. C.J. Stroud threw for five touchdowns, with Emeka Egbuka hauling in two as part of his six catches for 118 yards day while top 2023 wide receiver prospect Jaxon Smith-Njigba missed the game with an injury.
