Steelers DL Tyson Alualu

LATROBE, Pa. — The Pittsburgh Steelers have activated defensive lineman Tyson Alualu from the physically unable to perform list and waved injured outside linebacker T.D. Moultry, the team announced on Monday. The club also made official the signing of outside linebacker Ron’Dell Carter.

Alualu had been on the PUP list since the start of training camp with swelling in his knee. The veteran defensive lineman had been a participant in the team’s spring offseason practices. He missed most of the 2021 season after suffering and ankle injury early in the year.

The team did not disclose the nature of Moultry’s injury. The rookie free agent from Auburn will revert to the team’s injured reserve list if he clears waivers.

The Steelers’ offseason roster now stands at the maximum of 90 players entering the first week of the preseason.
