Steelers All 90: ILB Calvin Bundage
All 90 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 90 members of the Steelers 2021 offseason roster.
33 • Calvin Bundage, rookie inside linebacker
6-foot-2, 221 pounds
Acquired: Signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent on May 1.
College: Three-year starter at Oklahoma State that missed 2019 due to injury. Won honorable mention All-Big 12 honors in 2018 and 2020. Finished his Cowboys career with 149 tackles and 12 sacks.
Camp outlook: Bundage is playing inside linebacker for the Steelers, making the transition from the OSU 4-2-5 scheme.
It’s a crowded position group, with a half-dozen players with NFL experience in addition to fourth-round pick Buddy Johnson.
Bundage’s best hope for a future with the team probably involves beating out fellow undrafted rookie Jarvis Miller for a practice squad spot.
Future: Bundage’s rookie contract runs through 2023, at which point he’ll be a restricted free agent.
