Acquired: Signed by the Steelers as a street free agent on Feb. 21, 2017. Re-signed with the team in 2020.

Last season: Played in all 16 games as the Steelers primary and only long snapper for both punts and kicks. Both punter Jordan Berry and kicker Chris Boswell enjoyed career-best seasons. Canaday also had a career high two tackles in punt coverage.

Camp outlook: Backup Christian Kuntz returns, but the long snapper job will be Canaday’s as long as he’s healthy.
