Steelers All 90: OT Jarron Jones

All 90 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 90 members of the Steelers 2021 offseason roster.

74 • Jarron Jones, first-year tackle
6-foot-6, 320 pounds

Acquired: Signed by the Steelers as a street free agent on April 20, 2020. Re-signed with the team on

Last season: Jones was cut on Sept. 6 and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad.

Career: Jones has spent time with the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills after going undrafted out of Notre Dame in 2017.

He played with the New York Guardians of the XFL in 2020.

Jones started out as a defensive tackle before making the move to the offensive line.

College: Had 45 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and two sacks as a redshirt junior with Notre Dame in 2016. Missed 2015 with an injury.

Camp outlook: Jones will compete with fourth-round draft pick Dan Moore Jr. and fellow 2020 practice squadder Anthony Coyle to be the No. 4 tackle behind Zack Banner, Chukwuma Okorafor and Joe Haeg.

Jones will have a pair of court hearings stemming from two domestic violence arrests later this summer.

Future: Jones will be an exclusive rights free agent once again after the 2021 season.
