Last year: Played in six games, mostly on special teams. after playing in 10 as a rookie in 2017.

Stats: Made one tackle, the first of his career.

Accolades, Highlights:

Camp outlook: Allen is behind Cameron Sutton and Mike Hilton for sub package roles and behind Artie Burns as an outside backup.

Projected role: He’ll have to pass someone ahead of him on the depth chart to make the 53-man roster. The Steelers can save $1.7 million in cap space by cutting Burns, which might swing things into Allen’s favor.
