Camp outlook: Branch’s best route to a spot on the 53-man roster or the practice squad is to become the No. 3 option at inside corner behind Mike Hilton and Cameron Sutton.

Projected role: The Robert Morris product has a steep climb ahead of him in what might be the Steelers’ deepest position group, but there seems to be a path to a practice squad spot.
