PITTSBURGH – Even though it’s been known all week that Ben Roethlisberger would be getting the start tonight in the Steelers third preseason game, what’s been less clear is how the rest of the quarterback rotation would be handled. That was cleared up with less than an hour until kickoff on Saturday night by Steelers team reporter Missi Mathews. After Roethlsiberger, it will then be Mason Rudolph, Dwayne Haskins and then Josh Dobbs in that order.
Per Coach Tomlin, the #Steelers QB rotation tonight:

This order of quarterbacks continues to keep the continuity of what head coach Mike Tomlin has been doing throughout the entire preseason with Haskins and Dobbs following behind Rudolph, who started each of the prior two games. Now that Roethlisberger gets the start, the rest are simply following in line.
The question now moves to how much time each quarterback will actually see in the game tonight against the Lions.
Pittsburgh will kickoff their first home preseason game at Heinz Field at 7:30.
