Training camp competitions continue to rage, the Pittsburgh Steelers got a good bit healthier and will another new addition finally make an impact at outside linebacker?

🏈 Training Camp Takeaways: The ILB battle between Robert Spillane and Devin Bush has no end in sight.

🏈 Steelers injury updates: Najee Harris, Kevin Dotson and Genard Avery all returned to practice on Tuesday.

🏈 “He’s a freak”: Nick Farabaugh breaks down the impressive start to the career of Steelers wide receiver George Pickens.

🏈 How big of an issues is the Steelers’ still-struggling run defenseAlan Saunders takes a look.

🏈 The Steelers signed former Bears and Falcons outside linebacker James Vaughters and waived injured outside linebacker Tuzar Skipper.

🏈 Mitch Trubisky is now the heavy betting favorite to be the Steelers’ Week 1 starting quarterback.

🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger had a fantastic All-22 breakdown on George Pickens’ performance from this past Saturday’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. According to Pro Football Focus, Pickens was the highest-graded offensive rookie from Saturday’s games with a grade of 91.2.

🏈 Robert Griffin III believes in Kenny Pickett. “Kenny Pickett had Pittsburgh rocking (on Saturday night),” Griffin tweeted. “The tape shows he was decisive in his decision making, used his legs in crucial moments on the last drive and showed poise with the game on the line. Arm strength? How about an out route from the opposite hash for the game winner.”

🏈 Colin Cowherd of FS1 was also impressed with Pickett’s NFL preseason debut. “Kenny Pickett’s got to beat out Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph, and if it’s close, I’d go with Kenny Pickett,” Cowherd said. “Trubisky’s fine, he’s a bridge quarterback. But I watch Kenny Pickett, and I got to be honest, he looked composed, in control and comfortable. I watch Daniel Jones of the Giants and I still feel he looks nervous and anxious.”

🏈 Mike Tomlin shared on Instagram that members of the Pirates were at Monday’s practice. “Thanks to our brothers from the Pittsburgh Pirates for coming out to camp today and spending some quality time with us,” Tomlin wrote. “I appreciate the brotherhood and support. Good luck the rest of the way.”

🏈 The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that they’ve activated cornerback Denzel Ward (foot) off the physically unable to perform list. Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters (ACL) was also activated off the PUP list on Monday.

🏈 Antonio Brown recently told TMZ Sports that he’s interested in playing for the Dallas Cowboys. “Tell Jerry Jones to call me.”

🏈 With Chicago Bears inside linebacker Roquan Smith requesting to be traded, the NFL Management Council sent out a warning to teams about tampering.
