The Cincinnati Bengals signed one of the top free agent offensive linemen, and Pac-Man Jones, who never has anything nice to say about the Pittsburgh Steelers, likes the Patrick Peterson signing.

🏈 ESPN: Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. agreed to terms with the Bengals on a massive four-year, $64 million deal. According to Jeremy Fowler, among teams that showed interest in Brown were the Steelers and Jets. The Bengals put deal over the top with strong guarantees over long term.

🏈 Pat McAfee Show: There is zero love lost between former Bengals cornerback Adam “Pac-Man” Jones and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but even he likes the signing of veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson. “Pat P is a dawg,” Jones said on the Pat McAfee Show. “I like the Patrick Peterson move for the Pittsburgh Steelers.”

🏈 Minnesota Star Tribune: Minnesota center John Michael Schmitz ran through position drills in front of Giants offensive line coach Bobby Johnson and Vikings offensive line coach Chris Kuper. Schmitz has top-30 visits set up with the Steelers, Jets and Vikings.

🏈 Pro Football Network: Steelers newly added inside linebacker Cole Holcomb was drafted with pick 173 of round 5 in the 2019 draft class. He scored a 9.64 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 72 out of 1,967 linebackers from 1987 to 2019.

🏈 The Steelers are introducing their free agent signings on Thursday at approximately 2 p.m.

🏈 Mike Tomlin celebrated his 51st birthday on Wednesday.

🏈 Wednesday marked the 39th anniversary of Steelers legend Mel Blount’s retirement. Blount won four Super Bowls with the Steelers during the 1970s dynasty and is famously known for the “Mel Blount Rule,” decreeing that no defensive back could bump an offensive player outside of five yards from the line of scrimmage. Blount was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.

🏈 Diontae Johnson continues to put in work with the “Route God” down in Florida.
