🏈 Happy Birthday to former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger, born on March 2, 1982 in Lima, Ohio.
🏈 ESPN listed Najee Harris as a Steeler player who needs a change of scenery this offseason.
🏈 According to reports from the NFL Souting Combine, the Steelers had a former meeting with North Dakota State offensive tackle Grey Zabel. Zabel played tackle at NDSU but his future in the NFL is as an All-Pro guard.
🏈 Steelers left tackle Dan Moore Jr. is expected to receive a big payday on the open market. According to Spotrac, Moore is projected to receive a three-year deal, with an annual salary of $12.6 million. It would make Moore the 13th-highest paid left tackle in the NFL.
Pittsburgh plans to move Broderick Jones to left tackle, so Moore’s time in the Steel City has concluded. But it appears that he’ll cash-in this offseason with another team.
🏈 Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden posted a blazing-fast 4.3 40 time at the NFL Combine. Golden met formally with the Steelers at the Combine. Golden said that they didn’t talk much ball but it gave him an opportunity to let them know his story and who he is as a person.
🏈 The running backs also showed out at the NFL Combine. One thing is clear, Pittsburgh will have plenty of options to pick from in this year’s loaded RB class.
