🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro defensive tackle Cam Heyward said at OTAs last week that his versatile approach to his position will allow him to play longer.

“My game is different from everybody else in this league. I like to think I can play the run and the pass. And that’s why I’m different,” Heyward said. “Last year, Mike [Tomlin] brought to my attention, the thing that’s really cool is you watch powerlifters, and my game is built on power and technique. And (powerlifters) go into their 40s. And so, you know, that’s what kind of research I’m doing behind the scenes.”

🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson was with former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall and rapper Flavor Flav at Damar Hamlin’s Celebrity Basketball Game.

🏈 The Steelers held a football skills camp & Summerfest in Mexico City over the weekend. Former Steelers Rod Woodson and Alejandro Villanueva were joined by current Steelers players Miles Killebrew and Donte Jackson at the events.

🏈 According to Pro Football Focus, the Steelers have one of the best guard duos in the NFL with Isaac Seumalo and James Daniels. PFF ranked Seumalo the 14th-best guard in the NFL, while Daniels came in at No. 20.

🏈  Steel City Star shared a clip of Rocky Bleier, Franco Harris, and Lynn Swann on Good Morning America in  in Pittsburgh in 1989.
