🏈 Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix gave the most literal answer when asked about his game-changing interception in Sunday’s 13-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“Yeah, dropped back and threw it to the other team,” Nix simply stated.

🏈 Steelers kicker Chris Boswell has scored more points (25) than the entire New York Giants offense (24) in two weeks.

🏈 Former Steelers wide receiver and current Carolina Panther Diontae Johnson said quarterback Bryce Young is his guy and just because he lost the last two games doesn’t mean he will switch up on him.

When asked, “Do you feel like he (Bryce) gives you the best chance to win?”

Diontae responded: “Yeah, no doubt. No question.”

Despite Johnson’s support, the Panthers benched Young for Andy Dalton on Monday.

🏈 Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. has allowed three catches on five targets in two games while playing nearly every defensive snap. One catch went for 2 yards. Another went for 7.

🏈 Broncos head coach Sean Payton said Alex Highsmith was a “pain in the rear” for Denver. Highsmith finished Sunday’s game with four tackles, a sack, two tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry.

🏈 Ben Roethlisberger gave advice to right tackle Broderick Jones, who was benched in Sunday’s game after committing three penalties on a drive.

“I know he’s going to be frustrated. I think the best thing for Broderick right now is to just sweep it under the rug. Let’s watch it and figure out why it happened,” Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin podcast. “Was it technique? Did the guy just beat you? Sometimes those things just happen. He needs to go back and watch it, figure it out, check the technique, check what it was. Get it checked off and put it behind him. If you sit and dwell on it and I don’t know what coach is going to do moving forward but if you dwell on it, it’ll just build up. He’s gotta be ready to step up and be the dude.”

🏈 Ben Roethlisberger believes the Steelers could go far with their elite defense.

“It was to me, a total domination by the defense,” Roethlisberger said. “All parts of it, top to bottom, side to side. The Steelers will go far with this defense; all you have to do is have a competent offense that doesn’t turn the ball over, which we saw again. This offense, if you put this offense, what we saw today, with the defense we saw today, watch out. And again, I got to be careful because it’s Denver, but no, it’s what I saw.”

🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger raved about Steelers rookie center Zach Frazier’s performance against Denver. It was the second straight impressive outing by the rookie out of West Virginia.
