Steelers Defensive Starter Ready to Play Despite Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers Injury Update: Defensive tackle Keeanu Benton is good to go despite missing time with injury.
PITTSBURGH — Steelers defensive tackle Keeanu Benton is set to go after dealing with a hip injury that held him back during the week. Benton was limited in practice on Thursday by the sudden onset of the injury, but returned to practice in full on Friday and said he’s good to go for Sunday’s Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Steelers will need Benton, as fellow nose tackle Montravius Adams is still out this week, despite returning to practice on his way back from a knee injury.
Benton had just returned from a left knee suffered against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. He left that game late in the second half and did not return. Benton was limited in the week leading up to the Week 12 game against the Cleveland Browns, but was able to play a near-full workload. He played in 28 defensive snaps, recording one tackle and one quarterback hit.
