Steelers DT Keeanu Benton: Working with Cam Heyward Is a ‘Cheat Code’
From the Steelers Locker Room: Second-year defensive tackle Keeanu Benton said that working with Cam Heyward is a “cheat code.”
PITTSBURGH — Keeanu Benton is a popular breakout candidate for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, and for good reason. The second-year defensive lineman showed a ton of a promise as a rookie in 2024, and seems to have developed a killer instinct this season.
Benton said that he had about seven plays last season that he felt should have been sacks, and he’s been hell-bent on making sure those opportunities do turn into sacks this coming season.
He also said that working with Cam Heyward for two offseason has been a “cheat code” in jump-starting his development as a player.
