The last 24 hours have been quite the whirlwind for new Steelers linebacker Devin Bush. After anxiously awaiting his football future in one of the biggest moments of his life, Bush hopped on a flight to the Steel City and now finds himself in Pittsburgh ready to be presented to the fans of Steelers nation.

Tough decisions have been presented to Bush during the draft process, ranging from deciding what agent to represent him to what drills to perform at the combine.

One of the easiest decisions for Bush, however, would be what number he chose to don in black and gold. On Friday, he made that decision.

“Being able to put on the Black & Gold and being able to go out there and play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. It means everything to me.” said Bush in his introductory press conference.

Bush will wear #55 for the Steelers in 2019, a fan favorite number since the likes of Joey Porter once roamed Heinz Field touting the same number. Wearing that number will bring a lot of expectations from fans for a linebacker who already had them coming into the NFL Draft. Bush is excited to be in Pittsburgh, and Steelers fans are all the more excited to see #55 be represented well in the coming seasons.
